How come my calendar always shows full? (Red dots)

If the online calendar only shows red dots, this can be the result of one or more settings. Check following (all):
(Look further down this article how to customize it!)

☛ Are working hours created?
☛ Was the necessary knowledge indicated?
☛ Are the employees visible online?
☛ Is the service checked to be bookable online?
☛ Does the service have a duration?
☛ Is the menu checked to be bookable online?
☛ Was a holiday booked for this period?
☛ Are services blocked for a weekday/specific date?
☛ Is there a block on the calendar for that day/employee?

☛What is the shortest notification for an appointment (in hours)

If you have checked every setting above and everything appears to be OK but you are still having problems? Please let us know with which service / menu this specifically occurs, as well as the date on which the customer tries to book this and with which employee if there is a choice.

☛ No working hours were made for the hairdresser.
You can check this via Settings - Users - choose person - Work hours - create - Save
Or use the tutorial article "How can I set working hours or opening hours?".


☛ There is no knowledge for the hairdresser for a service from the menu
You can check this via Settings - Select user - person - select "knowledge" - correct knowledge - Save. Or use the tutorial article "Set knowledge".


☛ The hairdresser is not available for online bookings
Settings - Users - Name hairdresser - Permissions - Tick "visible online" - save


☛ The service is not checked to be bookable online or there is no time in the service.
You can check this via Settings - Services - Category click - Open the service by the square with a pencil in it - Enter the duration for the service - check "is online" - Save

☛ Does the service have a duration?
You can enter the default duration via Settings - Activities - Click on the appropriate category - Click on the pencil (right) next to the name of the service - adjust the duration - Save.

☛ The menu is not checked to be bookable online.
You can check this via Settings - Menus - Open menu - look at each step through the 3 dots and change it with a square with a pencil in it - "Online available" check - Save
Or use the tutorial article "How can I make a menu online bookable?".


☛ There is a holiday booked for this period.
You can check this via Settings - Absences - choose person.


☛ Are services blocked for a weekday/specific date?
Settings - Services - Open categorie - See the little calendar icon next to the service.
If you see a red dot with number there is a blok for that service

☛ Is there a block on the calendar for that day/employee?

☛ What is the shortest notification for an appointment (in hours)
Settings - Calendar - Online appointments




If all of the above are set correctly and you are still experiencing problems; please let us know with which service / menu this specifically occurs, as well as the date on which the customer tries to book this and at which hairdresser if there is a choice.
