What is a website profile in Mollie?

A website profile in Mollie is a registered domain (website) within your Mollie account — in other words, a website that Mollie has already approved.

✅ An approved website within Mollie
✅ Not a separate Mollie account
✅ Not a separate webshop (such as Shopify or WooCommerce)

When Optios processes online payments, it is always linked to a Mollie website profile. Although you can only connect one Mollie account per Optios account, this feature exists so that businesses with multiple registered websites within the same Mollie account can easily switch to another domain (for example, one that was previously approved) without having to set up the entire integration again.

The “Change website profile” button only changes which domain within your Mollie account is used for online payments. It does not create a new connection.
