How to synchronize the Optios calender with a Google Calender?

This handy synchronization ensures that you are always up-to-date. All appointments, workshops, blocks, and absences in one overview!

Updated over a week ago

Using Google Calendar is a great way to collaborate easily and effectively with colleagues, friends, or family. It makes your work or personal life much more organized and efficient!

Google Calendar is, of course, even more useful when combined with the Optios calendar, as it allows you to view (and share) all your Optios and personal appointments, workshops, blocks, and absences in one place.

Important
This synchronization is one-way!

  • You can view the appointments from your Optios calendar in your Google Calendar! ✅

  • You cannot make changes, deletions, or additions from Google Calendar to the Optios calendar. 🚫

In other words, everything from your Optios calendar will appear in your Google Calendar, but not the other way around. A meeting made in your Google Calendar will simply NOT appear in your Optios account.

How to get started?

  1. Create a new calendar in your Google Calendar.

  2. Name the new calendar so you can easily recognize it later, e.g., "Optios."

  3. Log in to your Optios account with your profile and personal password (!).

  4. Click on the "Connect" button.

  5. You will be redirected immediately. Select and log in to your Google account.

  6. Grant the Optios application access to your Google Calendar.

  7. In your Optios account, select the appropriate calendar from the dropdown (in this example, 'OPTIOS') and click 'Continue.'

  8. The connection is established.

  9. Click the 'Synchronize' button.

Important

Your Google Account must have write permissions for the calendar you have selected. If you do not have write permissions for this calendar, you will receive a notification in the notification center.
