Why doesn't the number recognition work all the time?

We recommend that you always work in Google Chrome and regularly do a full PC restart.
You can first check whether there is a warning sign for drivers in your PC for number recognition. In that case you will have to remove it and reinstall it.

In addition, it is possible that the power management settings on your PC are set to save power, thereby closing the USB port to which the caller ID is connected.
You can switch off this power-saving function via Power options.
Below you will find the steps to do this.

1. Go to the configuration screen via the magnifying glass and choose 'System and Security'

2. Select 'Power Options'

3. Click on 'change plan settings' by 'High Performance'

4. Click on 'Change advanced power settings

5. Make sure the setting is for plugged in items is on 'disabled'
