What are the POP, IMAP en SMTP settings of my e-mail account?

Central & SSL-secure mail server

We recommend that you use IMAP so that your e-mail is stored on the mail server. You can then read, answer and synchronize your emails on all your computers, laptops, phones and tablets.

Settings

*Incoming Server*
Type: IMAP
Host: imap.mail.eu-west-1.awsapps.com
Gate: 993
Username: info@...
Password: ...
SSL Obligated

*Outgoing server*
Type: SMTP
Host: smtp.mail.eu-west-1.awsapps.com
Gate: 465
Username: info@...
Password: ...
SSL Obligated

Extra guides:

For Mac users, there is an option "automatically detect and update account settings" you must turn this off for it to work properly.

Unsecured mail server

You can also use the mail server of your own server. This mail server is not provided with an SSL certificate. We strongly advise you to use our central & SSL-secured mail server.

POP server (incoming): mail.yourdomain.nl
SMTP server (outgoing): mail.yourdomain.nl

IMAP gate: 143
POP gate: 110
SMTP gate: 587

Username: email@yourdomain.nl
Pasword: as you have indicated

SSL: out!
Authentication for SMTP is required!

For Mac and Outlook users, there is an option "automatically detect and update account settings" that you must turn off for it to work properly.
