It is useful to know within the software how many products are still in stock, to make automatic orders and at the end of the financial year with the press of a button to open the inventory report. That is saving a lot of time that you can use elsewhere ☺️
It is of course important that you add all products that are present in the case to enjoy all the benefits of the software.
There are two ways to add products to the stock. The easiest and fastest way is with a barcode scanner. To do this, proceed as follows:
1: With barcode scanner (recommended)
1. Press "Products"
2. Scan the barcode (or barcode) with the barcode scanner
3. If the product has not yet been created, a popup will appear with the title "Add product" at the top
4. If you are lucky, a lot of data will be filled in automatically eg the name of the product, the brand, the category, the barcode and the purchase price. In the event that a number of data is already filled in automatically, you only have to add the other data eg the number in stock, the minimum and the maximum stock. If you are less fortunate, nothing is entered (only the barcode) and you will have to manually add all the data. That is because your products are not yet known at our central database. Feel free to send an application to help@optios.net to add your brand. (State the brand and the contact details of your supplier a.u.b.)
5. When everything is neatly filled in, press "Save" and the product is added within the software.

If you do not have a barcode scanner, you can manually type in the barcode and then search for the product.
If the product is present in our database it will fill in all the known details
If you would choose to add the products completely manually, you can do so in the following way
1. Press "Products"
2. Press "Add product"
3. Start by entering all details (name, brand, category, etc.)
4. Once all data has been entered, press "Save"
