Each year, certain popular holidays like Christmas, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day (and let’s not forget Black Friday) can potentially boost your sales in the weeks leading up to these festive occasions. That’s great news, of course, but it also means you might need a larger stock, more time to process all the orders, etc.
Additionally, gift baskets and packages are gaining popularity every year, so make sure you're well-prepared!
Pre-made gift baskets/packages
Go to the "Products" module.
Click "Add Product."
Fill in all the necessary details:
Name: e.g., "Christmas Gift Basket," "Fragrance Gift Basket," etc.
Category: e.g., "Gift Basket Hair Care."
Price: Set the total price for the basket, including all items.
Stock Quantity: Indicate the number of baskets you have prepared.
Once all details are filled in, click "Save."
For every basket you prepare, don’t forget to reduce the stock levels of the individual products included in the basket!
You can now sell the basket at the cash register.
👉 Unsold baskets can later be "unpacked" and the items sold individually.
Gift baskets/packages assembled by the customer
If you don’t prepare baskets in advance but instead assemble them on demand for the customer, no problem! Just sell all the products individually in your checkout system as you normally would.
It’s a good idea to create a product in your inventory for the gift materials themselves (basket, ribbons, bows, cellophane, decorations, etc.) so that you can charge for these as well.
